How To
Getting a website ready to receive installs
1 · Install the bridge file
Copy plugin-installr-bridge.php into
wp-content/mu-plugins/ on the website. Create the folder if it is not there.
Must-use plugins load on their own, so there is nothing to activate.
2 · Create an application password
In that site's admin, open Users, then your profile, then
Application Passwords. Name it Plugin Installr and add it. WordPress shows
a 24-character password once. Copy it before you leave the page.
3 · Add the website here
Add it under Websites and press Check. Green means the site
is reachable, the credentials work, and the plugins folder is writable.
The website must be served over HTTPS. WordPress refuses application passwords over plain HTTP.
